If you have been made liable to detention under the Mental Health Act, you may want to appeal against and to do that you must apply to a tribunal or to the hospital managers to ask them to discharge you from the hospital's care.
Making that application can be difficult and worrying, which is why we feel it is essential to consult a specialist solicitor in this complicated area of law.
Mental Health law is an area in which Clark Willis has a particular strength and specialism being one of only a few firms in the North East of England who undertake the work. We will visit you and answer all your questions about the process and what is involved. Then, if you decide to apply to the tribunal or hospital managers we will represent you at the hearings.
